Ten new projects have been approved for investment by the Foundation. The Board was delighted to receive lots of high quality proposals, and spent some time sifting through to get the best mix of investments. The ten approved projects were worth $284k in requests, an amount more than matched by the project partners. They included several myrtle rust projects, with innovative RNAi work, indigenous capacity building, and a surveillance plan for WA; plus funding for biosecurity awareness raising in schools and the community, understanding COVID impact with our neighbours, and preparedness for Spotted lanternfly.

Projects are now being contracted, and are progressively being added to the web-site. Watch this space!
